Avengers 4: Social Media Posts Tease Valkyrie’s Return
While most of us are still (im)patiently waiting to learn the official title of Avengers 4, many fans are still curious as to what happened to Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie after Thor: Ragnarok.
Thompson, who has been busy filming the Men in Black reboot with her Ragnarok co-star Chris Hemsworth, may be joining the God of the Thunder for reshoots on Avengers 4. The duo just recently wrapped the London portion of filming for Men in Black and were seen on Hemsworth and Thompson’s Instagram accounts boarding a private jet to Atlanta along with Hemsworth’s stunt double, Bobby Holland Hanton, who also worked with the actor on Avengers: Infinity War. Another Instagram user caught the actors exiting the jet with the caption, “Hello Atlanta.”

While Avengers: Infinity War took place shortly after the end credits of Thor: Ragnarok, Thompson’s Valkyrie was noticeably absent. This left some fans to wonder if she died in the slaughter of her fellow Asgardians, something which was later debunked by Joe Russo, as the director confirmed she had survived Thanos’ finger snap. Despite appearing in an on-set photo alongside some of her fellow female Marvel castmates, Valkyrie has never been officially confirmed to appear in Avengers 4. If these photos are to be believed, Valkyrie could be making a return for the ensemble film.
