New Aquaman Banner Teases a Coming Tide
A tide is coming in the latest banner for DC’s Aquaman.
The banner, which was first unveiled on Reddit, looks to be a slightly extended take on one of the film’s most recent posters. Like in that poster, Arthur’s hand is seen emerging from the ocean while sporting his classic costume and gripping a trident.

The new banner comes as long-range projections have finally hit for Aquaman, suggesting the DC film is looking at a modest $40-$60 million opening. Of course, estimates this far out are likely to change leading up to the film’s release. After all, official tracking typically doesn’t hit until approximately a month out from the release date. And as Wonder Woman has shown, estimates are merely that until the final box office numbers come in.
Despite the film’s current estimates, it’s clear the cast and crew are ready to jump into a sequel should Warner Bros. greenlight one, with Jason Momoa even pitching a few ideas of his own. Perhaps a tide is indeed coming and DC will finally see a new box office king take over as it’s rumored that the studio’s Batman and Superman are currently on their way out.
