Gal Gadot Joins Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet
Gal Gadot has joined the cast of Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet, voicing Shank, described as a tough and talented driver in the online racing game Slaughterhouse Race.
The Wonder Woman star announced her involvement on Instagram, writing, “Such an amazing experience to be apart of this project with such great creators and cast!”
Arriving in theaters for Thanksgiving, Ralph Breaks the Internet is the sequel to the 2012 animated hit Wreck-It Ralph. Shank is among the memorable characters encountered by Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) as they venture onto the Internet in search of a replacement part for Vanellope’s game, Sugar Rush. When Vanellope finds herself facing off against the tough-as-nails Shank in a street race, her Sugar Rush driving skills are put to the test.

“Shank is amazing at driving cars and has this bad-girl vibe to her,” Gadot said in a statement. “But as the movie goes on you realize how fun, wise and warm she really is on the inside, which is what I like most about her.”
Directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnson, Ralph Breaks the Internet arrives in theaters Nov. 21. The film features the voices of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Taraji P. Henson, Jane Lynch, Ed O’Neill and almost every Disney Princess voice recorded.
