Consequence of Sound seeks Social Media Intern for Fall 2018
Consequence of Sound is seeking a social media intern with a passion for music, film and pop culture for Fall 2018. All candidates must be available to work approximately 25 hours per week, and have proficiency in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit and Tumblr, among other social media platforms. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is also preferred but not required.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
— Assist in copywriting, sourcing images/GIFs/videos for posts on Facebook (CoS main and Film accounts) and Twitter
— Manage and develop strategies for CoS Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, Google+, and more, as well as offshoot channels
— Support monthly reporting and data analysis across channels
— Research noteworthy historical moments, anniversaries, birthdays
— Actively monitor social media (Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, etc.) for content to share on our channels
— Research emerging platforms for CoS to potentially get involved in
— Competitor analysis
—Manage and develop strategies for CoS web store
— Potential to provide assistance for live social media coverage during events, like festivals, award ceremonies, and concerts
