12 Great Netflix Shows Yet To Premiere In 2018

12 Great Netflix Shows Yet To Premiere In 2018

Netflix has given the world a lot of great shows in 2018, and surprisingly, it still has quite a few to give. Those curious about the best of the best the streaming service has to offer in the final months of the year need look no further as we have 13 entries highlighting the creme de la creme of Netflix streaming.

The Great British Baking Show (Collection 6)

The Cast: Noel Fielding, Paul Hollywood, Sandy Toksvig, Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith

Why We're Pumped: The Great British Baking Show has been one of the premiere food shows on television, and now the latest season has arrived for Netflix viewers to binge to their heart's delight. Granted, it's already aired in the U.K., so those with friends across the pond may want to avoid conversations about the show in the meantime. Those who don't can watch in peace and be wowed by the mouth-watering dishes that are showcased each episode.

When Does It Premiere: Friday, November 9

Narcos: Mexico (Season 4)

Cast: Diego Luna, Michael Peña, Matt Letscher

Why We're Pumped: Narcos has already proven its television worth keeping tabs on in its first three seasons, and the lineup for Season 4 is a testament to that. The series grabbed stars in Diego Luna and Michael Peña as it prepares to tell the story of the Guadalajara cartel in the 80s. We're excited for the story that's in store, but also to see these two actors doing their thing in what should be an exciting season.

When Does It Premiere: Friday, November 16

She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power (Season 1)

Cast:Aimee Carrero, Karen Fukuhara, AJ Michalka, Lorraine Toussaint

Why We're Pumped: She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power looks a lot different than the series of old, but that's not a bad thing. Change is the only constant, after all, and the animation and tone of trailers thus far looks very similar to one of Dreamworks Animation's other animated Netflix show, Voltron: Legendary Defender. We're psyched to see how Season 1 plays out, and whether or not it will pave the way to a future Masters Of The Universe series.

When Does It Premiere: Friday, November 16

Frontier (Season 3)

Cast: Jason Momoa, Alun Armstrong, Landon Liboiron

Why We're Pumped: Hype surrounding Frontier hasn't been particularly high since its Netflix debut, but with Aquaman set to make a splash in December, more might be encouraged to check the Canadian drama set in the 1700s. Those who do who have a love of Momoa and his ass-kicking characters won't be disappointed as Declan Harp is almost as much of a badass as Khal Drogo. Come for Momoa, stay for the dramatic storylines and harsh world of fur traders.

When Does It Premiere: Friday, November 23

Death By Magic (Season 1)

Cast: Drummond Money-Coutts

Why We're Pumped: Death By Magic is another magic series on Netflix that promises to show some of the most dangerous stunts that have claimed magicians in the past. Magician Drummond Money-Coutts isn't just going to examine these dangerous feats; he's going to perform them as well. It's an interesting premise that teases potentially life-threatening situations, and a look at what went wrong in the situations where other magicians failed.

When Does It Premiere: Friday, November 30

F Is For Family (Season 3)

Cast: Bill Burr, Laura Dern, Justin Long

Why We're Pumped: The dysfunctional Murphys are always a blast to watch, even if some subscribers have forgotten them and this show may have existed. Now, almost a year-and-a-half after being renewed, Season 3 is finally set to arrive and feature more of the politically incorrect family and a reminder of the way things were for some families back in the 70s.

When Does it Premiere: Friday, November 30

Ratched (Season 1)

Cast: Sarah Paulson

Why We're Pumped: Who wouldn't be pumped by the news that living television legend Ryan Murphy is producing a spinoff of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest? Even better, it's a series called Ratched and will follow the iconic nurse character. Many details have been kept under wraps since the original announcement in 2017, but we do know Sarah Paulson will play the nurse and Ryan Murphy was believed to have directed the pilot. That's all we need to know!

When Does It Premiere: 2018

Fuller House (Season 4)

Cast: Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber

Why We're Pumped: There are whispers floating around that Season 4 will be the final season of Fuller House. If that's the case, then fans need to make the most of these upcoming episodes, which are said to be jam-packed with guest stars. While we'd love to see another season that could wrap up the series neatly and possibly allow for an Olsen twins appearance, we're still grateful there are still episodes to come in 2018.

When Does It Premiere: Friday, December 14

Watership Down

Cast: James McAvoy, John Boyega, Olivia Colman, Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley, Daniel Kaluuya, Taron Egerton , Peter Capaldi

Why We're Pumped: Who would've thought a miniseries about a small group of rabbits would be one of the most star-studded affairs Netflix may do in 2018? The classic Richard Adams novel adaptation has a slew of big names to recreate the story of rabbits and a harrowing journey. It's also been revealed recently that Sam Smith will be recording the theme song for the original, so that's something to look forward to as well.

When Does It Premiere: 2018

Dogs Of Berlin (Season 1)

Cast: Fahri Yardim, Sebastian Achilles

Why We're Pumped: Netflix's original international offerings have brought some solid shows to America in 2018, and it looks like there's another promising one coming out of Germany before the year's end. Two Berlin detectives are forced into working together and attempt to take on the criminal underworld. Apparently, things get a bit sticky as the synopsis teased the men will begin to question whether they're truly on the right side of the law. We're excited to find out why!

When Does It Premiere: 2018

Voltron: Legendary Defender (Season 8)

Cast: Josh Keaton, Steven Yeun, Jeremy Shada, Rhys Darby

Why We're Pumped: Voltron: Legendary Defender is gearing up for its final season, and those who have been watching thus far know it's been a hell of a ride. The show has perfected that balance of a kids' show that appeals to adults almost effortlessly, which is not a feat many shows achieve. It's been a gem in Netflix's animated lineup for a while now, which will make it all the harder to say goodbye this December.

When Does It Premiere: Friday, December 14.

Holiday Specials

Cast: (various)

Why We're Pumped: Netflix is not afraid to get in the holiday spirit, and this year they're getting weird with it. This includes a one-off Christmas special for Jaden Smith's weird anime Neo Yokio, and a special holiday edition of Nailed It! called Nailed It! Holiday! Let's be honest, it's not all that hard to get excited during the holiday season, but it's going to be even easier with Nicole Byer making us laugh with her crazy show.
